Photo to far left show a close up of the bottom of the magazines. As you can see the top mag is a standard magazine with a flat base plate and the lower magazine is the hi capacity version with the winding wheel protruding through the base plate. High capacity magazines in air soft terms are all a like. Instead of the use of a spring and follower to force the BBs up into the chamber area there is a special device that makes use of a winding mechanism that scoops up BBs from the bottom of the mag. The advantages are that they load via a trap door so all you do is pour the BBs in and you have at your disposal a larger than normal number of rounds for sustained fire. You will never get 100% of the capacity of the magazine per winding. Instead you get anywhere from 35% to 45% of what ever the magazine's capacity might be. The disadvantage is that this type of magazine needs to be placed in the gun and then you wind up by means of a flush mounted wheel at the bottom of the magazine.
Note on all air soft magazines:
If a magazine is removed before it is empty 3-4 BBs that were previously in the vacuum up tube waiting to enter the chamber will drop at your feet. This is normal as by removing the magazine the vacuum seal is broken and there is nothing to hold the BBs in the up spout.

- As IPR issues and laws / regulations in regards to importation into the USA change everyday
it is possible this we have missed a particular IPR. If you are the holder of an IPR this you feel maybe violated on our web site PLEASE contact us immediately. We will need to have the exact issued IPR reference number plus the date of issue and the type of IPR / category it falls under. If we see this there is any evidence of violation we will immediately remove the item in question from the web site, cease all sales of said item and open discussions as to the disposition of remaining product and possible royalties due the holder.
