GENERAL INFORMATION:
The provided photos / links pictured will supply you with specific information on our single rails. The following is a general explanation of materials of construction and use.
The MFI Lower Rail System that MFI manufactures is made from 6061 T-6 Aircraft Aluminum that is Harden Anodized Mil.Spec. Black to a Rockwell Hardness of "48 Rc". This product was designed for use on REAL WEAPONS but, can also fit airsoft bb guns too. In short these are NOT cheap Chinese / Foreign made POT METAL or Questionable Plastic rails commonly used on toys or airsoft bb guns.
Additionally ALL of our single lower rails are 100% to US Military Specification in regards to width. This means that our single rails are 100% Picatinny Compatible. This is VERY IMPORTANT as any owner of a quick release throw lever mounted accessory can tell you. Perhaps 90% of what is offered in airsoft and in the real weapons industry are NOT the correct width (most being too narrow) and thus will not properly lock up tight. Our rails are absolutely correct so any SWAN / Single Lever Throw Action accessory will properly fit tight to our rails. Finally ALL our Lower RIS are 100% manufactured here in the USA.
PLUG & PLAY LIVE WEAPONS APPLICATIONS:
As mentioned above MFI goes to great lengths to make sure that our product is made from the finest materials and custom machined on State of the Art CNC machines. This is because we provide these to Law Enforcement and Military World Wide. Our customers can NOT afford to use questionable or substandard product in a REAL WORLD TACTICAL APPLICATION as their lives depend on 100% RELIABLE PERFORMANCE. All our rails can be used on FULL AUTOMATIC WEAPONS as they are designed and tested to with stand the excessive heat and punishment that real world operators require.
The MFI rail is PLUG & PLAY and can also be fitted to any M16 variant with A2 upper and lower hand guards without any modification. That is right… just pop out your heat shields and bolt it on with the provided hardware in seconds. MFI lower rails are drilled and tapped to accept common / standard US 1/4 X 20 threaded bolts. We provide two counter sunk bolts that are specifically manufactured so as they drop in (but not through) the holes in the M16 hand guard and make minimal contact with the rail (so as not to protrude through the opposite side) yet still lock the rail solidly to the hand guard. Truly a plug and play accessory.
This is the MAJOR ADVANTAGE of the MFI design... Unlike Knights Armament RIS (or similar style) or even the M16 hand guards with molded rails. Our system is NOT RESTRICTED to a particular hand guard length. It is NOT PRODUCT SPECIFIC in any way. Thus you could move an 6" MFI Lower Rail from M4A1 to AR15 CAR to MP5A4 to HK94 to FAMAS F1 to Full Size M16A2 to G3 SG-1 and back again to the M4A1 in a matter of minutes. Thus allowing real world operators the greatest latitude to re-configure weapons systems on the fly as the mission requirements change.
Because of this Unique Universal Application MFI offers SPECIAL VOLUME DISCOUNTS to ANY customer. We even have a discount for a super low volume of 2 UNITS! We do this as we know 80% of our customers have more than 1 weapon. We not only wish the small dealer to be able to buy in small volume to test the market and make money quickly, but also give our first time future MFI valued customers a price break as well. After all SATISFIED CUSTOMERS with product in hand at a shooting range are a very valuable source of advertising for MFI as 75% of our business is from HAPPY REPEAT CUSTOMERS.
PLUG & PLAY AIRSOFT BB GUN APPLICATIONS:
Unlike other airsoft manufactures, MFI has gone to great lengths to manufacture this rail system in such a way that you do NOT need to buy a special battery nor do you need to mount a battery externally. The MFI Rail System allows use of original Marui batteries in their originally designed interior locations.
Additionally MFI has made this rail easy to install on the Classic Army M4, Armalite M4A1 Airsoft, Tokyo Marui M16A2 or M4A1 without the customer needing to drill any holes or glue anything on. Our rail fits in minutes WITHOUT modification to the hand guard. When you decide to transfer the rail to another gun there is no evidence of it every being on your airgun. In short: "You do not damage your original Marui parts by adding this accessory.
CUSTOM / MODIFICATION REQUIRED APPLICATIONS:
MFI tries to keep it as simple as possible. Simple means not only time saving but, also life saving. The more complex the product the more there is to go wrong in a real world application.
Simplicity means that the ONLY thing that is required for a customer to mount one of our lower rails to their weapon is to drill two holes in their hand guard. Most hand guards are plastic and relatively cheap and very available. Simply place the rail on the hand guard and mark the hole locations using the rail as a template and drill the holes. You can still use the existing and supplied bolts for attachment.
Just so there is absolutely “ NO CONFUSION IN THE MARKET PLACE” we have added this paragraph to clarify a number of points.
- MFI goes to great lengths and legal expense
to research all INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (IPR) of the real weapons manufactures to GUARANTY this we do not accidentally import / offer for sale any item this may be restricted by law or this violates IPR: Trademarks, Utility Patents, Design Patents, Copyright or Tradedress. Click here to better understand this issue and our method of removal. This applies to only valid / registered trademarks. We do not remove areas like “Law Enforcement Use Only” or other un-registered / not protected markings.
- MFI does NOT offer about 40% of what is available
/ manufactured in the airsoft community due to IPR violations or Federal Law. Even though you may see other want-to-be / shady / foreign (with no telephone numbers or address) airsoft vendors selling such items does NOT make it legal. You can buy drugs on the street too but, it does not make them legal.
- Trade names:
These are for easy reference only and we do our best not to use the exact name or refer to it as similar, style or add disclaimer immediately following to assure this no one can possible mistake the items we sell for the real thing or this they have any relation to the real manufactures.
- None
of these air guns are produced, endorsed or in any way related to the real firearm manufacturers. Although they may look similar to more famous models made by real firearms manufactures their are NOT related to the real weapons manufactures.
- All models shown
are theatrical versions. All airsoft guns sold to non-DOC waiver holders are marked with "APPROVED" DOC orange markings. Buyers must be 21 years of age or older.

MFI products are legally obtained and sold in accordance with all US Laws and Regulations. We do sell to the general public but, reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. (All NFA rules apply.)
- Enforcement of Federal Regulations as of 10-01-98 has led to the seizure and destruction
of non pre-approved / smuggled airsoft product of unlicensed importers. Be assured this all MFI advertised product has been pre-approved, legally cleared through US Customs and sellable in the USA. Our entire product line is IN STOCK here in the USA and available for immediate delivery.
- As IPR issues and laws / regulations in regards to importation into the USA change everyday
it is possible this we have missed a particular IPR. If you are the holder of an IPR this you feel maybe violated on our web site PLEASE contact us immediately. We will need to have the exact issued IPR reference number plus the date of issue and the type of IPR / category it falls under. If we see this there is any evidence of violation we will immediately remove the item in question from the web site, cease all sales of said item and open discussions as to the disposition of remaining product and possible royalties due the holder.
