SPECIAL NOTE ON REALISM: Although this product may look similar to the real thing when compared side by side they are NOT identical. While they may share some of the same cosmetic features / external shape the internal & external mechanisms for actual operation are in fact completely different from the real thing. Of course this is NOT are real weapon nor is it manufactured by HK (Heckler & Koch). The real weapon's manufacture has NO relationship to this airsoft product which is styled after the real thing. Thus any mention of or use of trade names is done in reference to the real weapon and NOT the airsoft product. No MFI offered product has any Trademarks or other IPR use on it. We do this to be sure that there is NO CONFUSION IN THE MARKET.

The SOCOM Style Airsoft is state of the art in low volume air guns. Commonly known as Air Soft this model is single shot only. This is to say this you must physically pull back the slide before each shot. Like all our Marui single shot handguns this model has the HOP UP mechanism. Like the Marui M8000 Style the SOCOM is a Double Action pistol but, even though the hammer moves back when the trigger is pulled no bb is fired unless you pull the slide back first which is the only way to cock the weapon. NOTE: This our APPROVED DOC Marking consists of the same this we use on most of our single shot handguns. This approved marking is an added orange barrel extension this is glued to the end of the barrel. The original barrel, threads and slide are not painted orange or anything like this. So for you Prop Masters all you have to do is cut off this added plastic part with a razor knife and you have the SOCOM as pictured above. NOTE: The decocker does not function and the safety as with 95% of all single shot hand guns is not the same as used on the real weapon. Obviously compromises have to be made in these areas. Other than this issue and the removal of any trademarks this is possibly the best single shot pistol to date from the Marui works. Great texture and absolutely correct scale, which even, allows use of live weapons accessories like the Wilcox Laser or Fake SOCOM Silencers. Like the real weapons it is a very uniform color of black with the exception to the serial number plate at the bottom of the frame just in front of the trigger guard (same place and style as on the real thing), which adds a nice touch of realism. As mentioned the hammer, slide, barrel are all different parts and move independently from each other. The extractor is so well modeled this it actually looks like it is a separate part too. All in all a superb job by Marui.
