The reality behind this weapon is that life is now imitating fiction. Marui has released this cross between a real USSR AKS-74U, AKMS, a Chinese AK-47S Underfolder and the latest all black furneture AK assault weapons in very limited numbers.
The AK-Spetsnaz Pistol with it's brother the KGB Spetsnaz SMG with an underfolder stock are the shortest of the AK family. The Standard AK-47 and the AK-47S are the middle lengths and have been the heart and soul of most Socialist or Communist Countries throughout the world. The SVD Dragunov Sniper is the longest model of this family.
The AK-Spetsnaz Pistol is a select fire BB gun. That is to say that it is capable of both semi automatic and full automatic fire. The BBs used are the industry standard 6mm plastic type.

We rate the AK-Spetsnaz Pistol at an amazing 94 points out of 100 for realism (less 3 points as there are no real ones). It is correct in size, feel and very near the real weight! You can even add some of your own accessories like: Scope mounts and flash suppressors as this model uses the same reverse tread pattern as the original.
