This warranty does not apply to breakage or malfunction due to accident, abuse or improper use, mishandling, improper or poor maintenance or use of the wrong-sized or reused BBs. Use of non-MFI supplied BBs, Batteries, Battery Chargers and or Green Gas may cause damage to your gun and will also void your warranty. Basically it is stupid to use other manufacture's or suppliers expendables in our airsoft guns and visa versa. Using the suppliers expendables in their products will assure that any problem that may occur is the fault of the supplier of both airsoft gun and expendable. We mention this only that we find that the number one cause of airsoft gun failure is use of substandard ammunition. In addition, removal of any of the warning stickers or safety markings from the Air Soft gun will void this and all warranties. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY / TRADE IN POLICY
As stated above we offer a better than normal 30 day warranty. Additionally we have a very aggressive trade in policy on all our air soft guns. We have such a strong need for non-firing prop guns in our professional film rental department that we offer a virtually unlimited and unheard of trade in policy.
MFI guarantees the customer at least 50% of the original invoice cost of a MFI air soft bb gun in trade towards the purchase of a new air soft bb gun.
Conditions:
SPECIAL NOTE: Transfer of an MFI air soft gun does not necessarily void this warranty. Proof of lineage is required and may effect the amount of credit.
EXAMPLE (1): A customer (true story) purchased an air soft gun in May of 1996 from us. They paid $620.00 at the time. In July of 1998 they contacted us to see about the availability of internal parts. The problem with the air gun was that the customer in a pursuit dropped the air gun into some water. The water obviously killed the electrical system so the gun will never fire again. As the exterior of the gun was in near mint condition and we were in need of prop guns MFI gave the customer a 50% trade in value on the dead gun towards any future purchases of MFI products. As the customer stated… "It was like renting the air gun for 2-3 years and getting a new one at half price!"
Even really badly damaged MFI air soft guns are still worth something!
EXAMPLE (2): A customer (true story) purchased an air soft gun MP5A3 and 2 weeks later (somehow) the gun was driven over by a car. Obviously the gun was in pieces. MFI still gave this customer $45.00 towards another purchase. We did not buy this back out of the goodness of our heart but, rather because we saw that we could glue it back together and use it in medium shot of a helicopter blow up scene where we would surly loose what ever weapon we place in there.
EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE, MFI EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, SHALL MFI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FORM USE OF THE AIR SOFT GUNS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL MFI'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON USING THE AIR SOFT GUN FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE) EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE AIR SOFT GUN. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
When returning an item: You must contact us first by phone to let us know you are returning the product. 606-787-0022. Full credit (less shipping) will be issued upon receipt of the merchandise and its re-entry into our inventory. To qualify for the full refund less your shipping the product must be in the condition you received it in and returned to us with in the 45-day approval period from date of purchase. Any return arriving after the 45-day grace period is subject to a the following restocking fees.
SPECIAL NOTE: If you received a discount or free shipping and you return the items. You will be held responsible for some (if not all the shipping cost... even though you were not charged). This is to avoid customers abusing our generosity in this area. In short if you buy something from MFI and negotiated a discounted shipping cost (likely due to the volume that you bought) and you return one, or more of the items you will be charged a portion of the actual shipping cost to you. Please read about the product that you are buying. We spend countless hours writing detailed descriptions so that you know exactly what you are getting. If something does not meet your needs it is likely because you did not take the time to read the information and MFI is not responsible for this.
The following is a list of items and charges you will be held accountable for if these items are not included in your return. Any other item or accessory missing from the returned item will be charged at market rate or at MFI's discretion. Items listed below like Invoices and Credit Card information are critical to a speedy return. Not supplying this information will not only delay your return as we need to locate this information but, will also cost you a small fee for our time.
Again just to be absolutely clear in this area: If you use the bb gun and shoot it for 10 to 15 days (to determine if airsoft is for you or not) and treat it with kid gloves so not to damage the exterior or interior parts and then return it to MFI you should not have any problem and will receive a 100% credit (less S&H). If you misuse and abuse the item and cause rub marks, scratches or other damage you will be held accountable for this and receive a credit that reflects the condition of the returned item.
SPECIAL NOTE: If you are paying via credit card please be aware that if you place and order with MFI and we process your credit card (run approval and complete the transaction) and you then choose to cancel the order (before the product is shipped or if you refuses the package when delivered or if you are making a return for no apparent reason i.e. you ordered the wrong thing or you over extended yourself financially); you will be charged 10% of the total amount, even though the order has not been filled. This due to the fact that MFI normally absorbs the standard 5% fee charged by Visa / MC and other card companies per transaction. In short we are charged 5% for the transaction of taking your money and another 5% to credit it back to you. Thus this 10% cancellation fee covers these lost percentages and any lobar for paper work encored in the process. If we have not charged your card then there is no fee. Normally credit card transactions are completed with in 15 minutes of your order being placed. Be sure you really wish to order what you ask for as a cancellation will cost you money. This obviously does NOT apply to additions or subtractions to your order... (ONLY CANCELATIONS). This statement is to ensure fairness to the merchant as it is not our fault if you change your mind at the last minute. This is also true for any special order / special offers such as pre-pay and wait circumstances before the ETA of the product (see below).
Additionally any order (regardless of payment method) over $1000.00 that is returned due to fraudulent circumstances ( usually in regards to minors placing orders ) is subject to a 20% restocking fee. In short it is not the fault of MFI that an order was placed under mis-leading circumstances. In the above $1000.00 category MFI in good faith took at least 2 hours to process this fraudulent order and most take an additional 2 hours to re-stock and inspect the items once they are returned. No company should be penalized for providing exceptional service. Those committing the fraud or who have acted inappropriately are the ones who should face this financial burden. It is for this reason that we levy this re-stocking fee.
PRE-PAY & WAIT PROVISIONS FOR SPECIAL ORDERS OR OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
To avoid any possible misunderstanding or confusion of your legal rights to a refund MFI has a standard policy on any prepay and wait. Per-pay and wait means that you are given a discount on an item that is new or out of stock. MFI will not take your money if we do not have a notice from the manufacture that the item is on their production schedule in the near future. Near future is defined as no more than 4 months. Most manufactures produce popular items every 6-8 months ( like: Marui MP5A5, MP5K or MP5SD6 ) other items that have a limited market are produced once every 1.5 to 3.5 years or when the demand is great enough ( like: Marui PSG-1, AK-47s or SIG 550 ). It would be unfair to the customer and against the law to take money for an item not knowing when or if it would be produced again.
If an item is out of stock and MFI does not have a production schedule for it you can request to be placed on a back order / contact when available list for that specific item. MFI does not have many of these as most items that we have: Evaluated for Quality & Performance, received Federal Approval for Import and have Carried in the past are usually in stock. This is because we buy in very large quantities (enough to last the sometimes lengthy time frame between production runs) in order to best serve our customers immediate desires. This type of list requires only the customer's full name, address and best method of being contacted. There is no down payment and no obligation to buy when the product becomes available. Often (but not always) these back order lists result in a discounted special offer similar to the pre-pay and wait.

What if you need your money back?
Because this is a special discounted price and you have a guaranteed spot for product we attach the following conditions for refunds.
WHAT IF THE PRODUCT BECOMES ILLEGAL OR IS NOT AVAILABLE TO IMPORT INTO THE USA?
As it has happened in the past on a number of different occasions that made importation impossible because: The White House issues an Executive Order, some new form of legislation was enacted, change in import criteria or new regulation enforced we have provisions for the following to endure your security and piece of mind.
If the product does not arrive for whatever reason and we do not foresee it arriving for whatever reason we automatically refund your money. This is a full refund and it would take place no latter than one month after our original ETA. In most cases it is simply a matter of waiting for the Executive Order to expire or MFI entering into a contact or yet another approval criteria / license in order to get product in legally.
All pre-pay and wait items (once delivered) are fully covered by MFI's standard return policy and limited lifetime warranty.
QUANTITY / LARGER VOLUME SPECIAL ORDERS:
In this area of ordering we want to be absolutely clear that anyone ordering more than 2 of the same gun is expected to know what they are buying. And thus does not qualify for the standard return policy due to this fact.
To avoid any possible misunderstanding or confusion in this area we will spell it out for you.
Standard return policies are gauged towards first time customers who have little or no experience with Airsoft products. Our standard policy applies to individual guns not volume purchases (whether or not you received a discount.)
The standard return / test trail period does apply if you are buying one gun or if you are buying 25 different guns. You may not want to keep one or two out of 25 guns for want ever reason.
The standard return / test period DOES NOT apply if you are returning all 25 guns because airsoft is not for you is not acceptable. Just because you thought you could kill rats or something fictional like that does not warrant a return for full credit. Know what you are buying... buy one or two and test them to be sure airsoft is for you.
The standard return / test period DOES NOT apply if you bought more than 2 of the same gun for what ever reason to find out that they are not acceptable to you. Again MFI fully stands behind what it sells but, we will not pay for stupid decisions. You will have to pay for these. This mostly applies to dealers or resellers who buy in volume items they have never seen. We do everything to discourage this activity as you the buy should be fully informed before making a purchase.
The main reason we do this is because we do not resell any airsoft that comes back for a customer as there is no way to know what the customer has doe with it. It would not be fair to a customer to receive any product from MFI that is not 100% new in the box as advertised.
Our Volume / Special order return policy is as follows:
There is a 35% fee for any item that falls into the above categories (volume sale / special order). This means if you buy 3 of the same gun and want to return 1 or all three of them there is a 35% fee for the return.
There is a 55% fee for any item that falls into the above categories (large volume sale / special order). This means if you buy 5+ of the same gun and want to return 1 or all of them there is a 55% fee for the return.
Orders of over 10 of the same gun may or may not be returned at MFI's discretion.

Again as these are an order per a customer's request for an item, which MFI does not carry / must modify in order to supply / the items has discontinued or we are CLOSING OUT Product at a GREAT DISCOUNT; we can NOT offer any return or exchange on this type of order. Items falling into this category are rare / hard to find, special MFI modifications (i.e. Galil SR), collectors items, or product not deemed worthy of MFI's warranty as we have tested them and know them to be substandard. As the customer is the one who has requested these items (in that MFI does not actively market them) they should know exactly what they are buying / requesting. If the product is junk or does not last even 2 minutes that is not our problem. You the customer requested this item and it is your duty to be fully informed in every respect.
Items in this category DO NOT qualify for the standard return policy or future exchange / lifetime warranty.
To avoid any possible misunderstanding or confusion in this area we will spell it out for you.
If you buy an DISCONTINUED or CLOSE OUT Item we guaranty that you will receive the product the with all accompanied parts / accessories and in the condition we state on our web page for that item. Please read the information carefully. Once you have the gun if you are not satisfied with it for any reason you have ZERO RETURN POLICY or EXCHANGE.
In short MFI takes an enormous amount of time to write very detailed description of everything we sell. You can not expect us to take an item back because you did not read this information. CLOSE OUT means that we are 100% sure we do not want to carry an item ever again and have no use for these any more. Likely they are a GREAT DEAL / CHEAP but, that below our cost price / super discount takes in to account the fact that NO WARRANTY & NO RETURN is part of that price.
If you request MFI to modify, transfer or purchase an item from a collector or our collection... say a Toy Tech FN P90 you will pay in full and be given an ETA date. Unless we can not deliver the product by the ETA date you have absolutely no recourse for a refund or cancellation of the order for any reason. This is because we have made this purchase (of a limited available item) on your behalf and we can not return it either. Therefore we can not be financially responsible for your changing your mind.
Once the product arrives (assuming it is within the ETA period) and you take delivery of it you have no way of returning the item for any reason. Let us say for example you get the item and it does not work or stops working shortly after you use it or is not the quality you had thought it would be. Too bad... you have no recourse for any return or exchange.
In short do your homework... Know what you are requesting... There is likely a very good reason why MFI does not offer this item in our regular line up.
Just so there is absolutely “ NO CONFUSION IN THE MARKET PLACE” we have added this paragraph to clarify a number of points.
Customer Service is available from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday. We are often in earlier and or later than the aforementioned hours so if we hear the phone ring we will answer it.
DAILY DEADLINE FOR ORDERS: Any order received by 1:00 PM East Coast Time (Monday through Friday... excluding closures of course) is GUARANTEED to be filled this same day. Orders received after this deadline will be filled on the next business day.
