MFI 1" Wide HK Style Snap Sling Hook:

Also known as QD Sling Clasp / HK Snap Hook.

You can also use these in conjunction with standard sling swivels.

Any weapon with a non standard sling loop but, rather an eye loop / eye bolt for a sling hook up point.

SPECIFICATIONS / SPECIAL FEATURES:

  • 100% Made in the USA.

  • Weight Tested @ 165 lbs+ (meaning the hook can hold 165 lbs of dead weight).
    Warning do NOT use for climbing or any other purpose other than slings.

  • It will not ware out your weapons eye bolt / sling swivel point. I deliberately make these out of a 4000 series aluminum alloy and paint and or anodize them so that the hook wears out before the eye bolt on your weapon. As you can imagine if we made the hook bodies out of titanium and applied a super hard powder coat paint job... You would be replacing the sling swivel point on the weapon or at the very least scratch and shit out of your weapons finish. It is far cheaper to replace a $5.00 sling hook than a hard mounted / welded eye bolt on your weapon's frame @ $175.00 and re-finish the receiver to match. Remember the attachment of any accessory (even a magazine) will scratch your weapons finish. So you can expect some wear on your weapon at the point of contact.

  • Main Body Loop Size is 1 inch wide.

  • NOTE: I also have these in 1.25" wide loops.

  • Weight: 0.8 oz. (25 gr)

  • Fits on to any sling's Soft Points (webbing loops) that can be used / attached to any conventional standard loop style sling swivel found on 80% of all rifles and shotguns.

    Super product, BUT how the Hell did they fill the order so fast? I placed the order for 5 of these Friday night in FL... and they arrived my house on Tuesday all the way from CA via 1st class mail???

    Nothing fancy, they just work. The spring clasp has plenty of tension, I've not had one come loose inadvertently. The finish (paint?) wears off quickly, chips easily. Better that than the finish on your expensive weapon.
