This item is a direct response from loyal customers requesting a more cost effective and shorter range applicable RED DOT SITE similar to that of Aim Point and Trijicon. Yes you always get what you pay for... And YES there is a trade off here as well. The main difference between Aimpoint, Trijicon and EoTech and the MFI QRS is that our site is NOT WATERPROOF. The QRS is completely sealed and has "O" Rings on all removable caps and thus is Resistant to Heavy Weather but, it is NOT waterproof to 30 meters of salt water. Yes you can even drop it in a puddle of water but, you can NOT exit a submarine in the Arctic and expect it to function like it's more expensive counterparts.

Just so we are absolutely clear and that there can be no confusion in the market place this is NOT an Aimpoint ML2.

The only other major difference is that the QRS has a 5 to 6 MOA Red Dot instead of a small 0.5 to 1.5 MOA dot.

NOTE on MOA Mil Dot: 5 - 6 inches @ 100 meters. This means that at 100 meters the red dot will cover an area on the target between 5 and 6 inches in diameter. A more applicable use for these is at a range within 50 yards. We expect most to be used within 50 feet. At 50 feet the red dot (on the brightest setting ) is 1 MOA. This means that whether busting down a door in Falushia or taking down a drug dealer in Compton the QRS red dot will show you the exact point of impact in any given close range / CQB situation.

If you require pin point accuracy @ 100 yards then this is NOT the weapons site for you. You need a site with 1-2 MOA dot @ 100 yards. Aimpoint or Trijicon are you only real choices for 1 MOA & are available @ $450.00+. On the other hand if your requirements are to have the OPTIMAL size red dot that is easy to see in any lighting situation at close to medium range… for real world target acquisitions… this is the most cost effective and reliable weapons site on the market.

Faster Target Acquisition: For those of you who have never used a RED DOT SITE studies show that you can increase your time to trigger by 12 times faster than using standard peep sites.

Power Supply: Batteries are 1.55v silver oxide type 357, LR44, 303, A76 or AG13 X 2. QRS only uses 2 batteries but, we INCLUDE 4 BATTERIES with every Weapons Site.

Retainers for Battery Caps: The QRS comes with WIRE Retainers to keep you from losing the battery or windage caps. We also include a Rubber Spider / 3 Way Retainer similar to that found on most Military Models.

Mounts / Rings: Mounts are NOT included. QRS can fit any 30mm ring and we offer a number of rings & mounts for almost any application.
